The best minds of the country can be nurtured only when the young are nurtured with an adequate education. At Avani Foundation, we strive to reach out to underprivileged children in our societies and provide them with formal school education.
Only a formal school education helps children to chart their future course of action with clarity. Our foundation funds the school education of disadvantaged children so they could use it as a means to a self-sufficient life in the future.
Our focus on basic school education stems from the fact that education serves as the strongest foundation to address pressing societal issues of unemployment, poverty, sanitation, hunger and malnourishment, population control, and healthcare.
Education plays an instrumental role in helping young minds evolve as responsible citizens through:
- Adoption and practice of dignified social behavior
- Understanding and Exercising their rights,
- Their enlightenment on duties towards the nation and how to discharge them
We encourage disadvantaged children from all sections of society to undergo pre-primary, primary, and secondary school education. These disadvantaged children also include those afflicted with HIV/AIDS, school dropouts, and specially-abled children.
Avani Foundation also stresses the importance of girls’ and women’s education to empower the girl child and her family.
We are strongly driven by our mission to bring school education to disadvantaged children because ultimately, children who are educated and well-equipped with knowledge will become the foundation for a socially and economically healthy and prosperous India.
